Secret Agent

Mike’s secret agent training complemented by a not-so-keen sense of reality allowed him to deduce that he was now bugged all the time. Not wanting to give away his location, he stood silently till the danger was shut off.

He did this for six days, eventually collapsing to the floor. He hit his head and destroyed a vintage McCoy planter he’d recently acquired in a vicious bidding war on eBay.
